Sweep is hiring an Account Executive, tasked with building Sweep's presence in North America from the ground up by establishing relationships with prospective clients and turning them into successful customers.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced salesperson, with the ability to engage in both business and technical conversations, across multiple levels in complex organisations. You have a strong understanding of the buyer journey and can lead multi-thread complex selling in a consultative manner. You show great skills at creating value in an emerging market and enjoy selling a tool that requires a deep understanding of the product, and technical knowledge.
You like the challenge of prospecting, building compelling proposals and leading a sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
Finally, you are keen to contribute to the development of the sales process, the craft of our value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets.
Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
As part of the Sales Team, you are the pioneering force of Sweep's US expansion, working on the front line of the sales process for the sales team. You'll be responsible for closing opportunities and ensuring the success team can deliver real impact for our customers while helping establish Sweep as a leader in the North American sustainability software market.
To be more specific, this includes:
- Help build Sweep's presence in the US market by identifying and engaging target accounts.
- Own an account list and develop strategic account plans to win and expand business with mid-market and Enterprise accounts across North America.
- Take full accountability for building and closing your own sales pipeline with a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities in a greenfield market.
- Collaborate closely with our Marketing and SDR teams to qualify and nurture leads.
- Work with company leaders from different functions (Sustainability, ESG, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, etc.) to lead product workshops and presentations.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes (operational leaders, C-suite, legal, procurement, etc.).
- Partner with the sales engineering team and customer success team to ensure we deliver exceptional value.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in Salesforce.
- Coordinate prospecting campaigns with the marketing team.
- Provide critical market feedback to help shape our US go-to-market strategy.
- Help develop and refine our sales process for the US market

Qualifications 🏆
- You bring a minimum of 4+ years of sales experience
- Experience in software-as-a-service environments, ideally in the B2B Enterprise space
- Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organizations
- Ability to lead intricate negotiations
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to evolve in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of CSR and climate change is a clear plus
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
