Sweep is hiring a Director of Product Marketing, tasked with planning, implementing, and managing our product and services marketing strategy, generating leads, and making Sweep the number one brand in sustainability data management.
You will lead the team of marketers responsible for the messaging, packaging, and delivery of our products to market. You will also be responsible for implementing new product strategies in close collaboration with our product team, leading customer research, and building powerful, enduring relationships with analysts and other business partners to drive influence and insights. Additionally, you will focus on leveraging market and competitive intelligence to shape company and product strategy effectively.

Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
Initially, this role will require you to be both hands-on, developing strategies and implementing them yourself, while also helping build out the team.
You will work closely with Sweep’s co-founders and leadership, helping to structure processes and initiatives aligned with the strategic company goals and ensuring real impact.
To be more specific, this includes:
1. Implement product marketing strategies that unlock growth 🚀
- Crafting product marketing messages that set the product apart
- Planning and executing the launch of new Sweep products and services
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with analysts, influencing market perception, and leveraging their insights for strategy
- Creating marketing content such as case studies, website copy, and blog post
2. Build our product marketing muscle 🔍
- Conducting surveys and in-depth market research to gain insights into customer product usage, buyer personas, and competitive landscapes
- Using market and competitive intelligence to influence company and product strategies
- Coordinating timelines and deadlines for new product development with the product team
- Communicating the value of new products to internal teams and helping them develop tools to facilitate the sales process
3. Build a best-in-class product marketing team 👫
- Developing and mentoring a team of product marketers to ensure successful product placement and adoption, in close collaboration with Product, Marketing and Sales
- Acting as a mentor and coach for the team, regularly reviewing performance, resolving challenges, and providing ongoing training to ensure exceptional performance
4. Be an advocate for Sweep 📣
- Representing our mission externally through active industry engagement, helping build our network and thought leadership

Qualifications 🏆
- A minimum of 5 years of product marketing leadership experience
- Experience in software-as-a-service B2B Enterprise space
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining analyst relationships
- Expertise in gathering and applying market and competitive intelligence to inform strategy
- Broad experience with digital, content, events, and social media marketing
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
- Experience working closely with multidisciplinary, remote teams
- Experience in the climate industry is a clear plus
- Proficient in English; French is a bonus
